Shelley-Ann Charlton
COO of ToolBox Go

Shelley-Ann Charlton is the company’s Chief Operating Officer and is excited after 20 years in the payments space to be part of the executive team of ToolBox.

Both Shelley and Jeff Shavitz are happy to rejoin working together since their days in 2001 with the start of Charge Card Systems Inc. Shelley was CCS’s first employee and became Director of Operations. With her help, CCS grew from a three-person organization to a company with more than 500 salespeople and eventually was sold to Card Connect, now wholly owned by First Data with its $750MM acquisition in June 2017.

In addition to working at CCS/Card Connect, Shelley also worked in management positions at other payment companies including Swipely (name change to Upserve which focused on the restaurant industry) and LexCharge LLC (legal payment processing).

Her wide-ranging responsibilities in all facets of the merchant services industry coupled with her technology background are a welcomed addition to the launch of ToolBox.

Born and raised in Kingston, Jamaica, Shelley-Ann moved to Florida in 1992. She completed her Associates Degree in Computer Information Systems at Miami Dade Community College and her Bachelor’s Degree at Florida Atlantic University with a major in Business Administration and a minor in Computer Information Systems.
